COBOL Developer – Insurance Claims Systems (Full Remote)

We are looking for an experienced COBOL Developer to join a long-term project in the italian insurance sector , working within the Claims domain .

You will join an established project team and contribute to the analysis, maintenance and evolution of core enterprise systems.

• Full remote

• Freelance – full time

• Start: ASAP

• Duration: 6+ months (extensions expected)

Italian is mandatory

Responsibilities

• Contribute to analysis and development activities in the Claims area

• Work on core legacy systems in a structured enterprise environment

• Understand and operate on existing application flows

• Support the evolution and maintenance of systems already in production

• Collaborate with an established project team

Technical requirements

• Proven experience with COBOL

• Strong familiarity with batch processing

• Experience with:

CICS

DB2 (z/OS)
