As Cluster Director of Marketing and Communications, I will fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others, and the world around them, and will embrace our values of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsible and caring, fun and quirky, and pioneering wellness.

I will safeguard these pillars and their strategic planning and development and ensure all directives, practices, and initiatives are implemented, embraced, and adopted within the hotels.

Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Brand Positioning

  • Define, lead, and evolve the overall marketing strategy for the cluster, ensuring alignment with brand positioning, commercial objectives, and local market dynamics across Ibiza, Rome, and Milan.
  • Establish clear and differentiated positioning for each property, identifying key narratives, strengths, and opportunities, and translating them into compelling marketing strategies.
  • Drive long‑term brand equity while ensuring marketing initiatives support short, mid, and long‑term commercial performance.
  • Act as a strategic voice within the cluster, contributing to broader business decisions and ensuring marketing is fully integrated into commercial and operational priorities.

Brand, Content & Creative Direction

  • Oversee the content and storytelling strategy across all channels, ensuring a consistent, elevated, and distinctive brand voice.
  • Provide strategic and creative direction on key campaigns, ensuring concepts are strong, culturally relevant, and aligned with the luxury positioning of the brand.
  • Guide and challenge teams to elevate the quality, originality, and impact of creative outputs.
  • Oversee major brand moments such as openings, repositioning, and high‑visibility campaigns, ensuring clarity, coherence, and ambition.

Partnerships, Collaborations & Brand Development

  • Identify, develop, and lead high‑impact partnerships across fashion, culture, wellness, and lifestyle to reinforce the brand’s cultural relevance.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with external partners, agencies, and industry stakeholders.
  • Drive the development of brand extensions and collaborative initiatives that enhance awareness and commercial performance.
  • Ensure all partnerships are strategically aligned, thoughtfully executed, and contribute to the long‑term brand narrative.

Communications, PR & Brand Visibility

  • Define and lead the communications and PR strategy across the cluster, ensuring strong and differentiated storytelling.
  • Oversee the selection, management, and performance of PR agencies, ensuring alignment with cluster priorities.
  • Shape and control the brand narrative across media, press, influencers and key opinion leaders.
  • Identify priority markets and visibility opportunities to optimise media presence.
  • Provide strategic direction to PR and on‑property teams, ensuring alignment and impact.
  • Ensure strong integration of PR, marketing and commercial initiatives to maximise reach and ROI.

Campaign Leadership & Marketing Calendar Ownership

  • Define the annual marketing calendar, ensuring alignment across properties.
  • Oversee planning, development and execution of seasonal and tactical campaigns from briefing to delivery.
  • Ensure campaigns remain locally relevant while maintaining a cohesive global narrative.
  • Establish clear processes and ways of working to ensure consistency, efficiency and high‑quality execution.

Commercial Integration & Performance Management

  • Ensure all marketing strategies are aligned with revenue objectives, positioning marketing as a key driver of commercial performance.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and revenue teams to identify opportunities and maximise business impact.
  • Define and oversee performance frameworks, KPIs and reporting structures.
  • Monitor and analyse performance and translate insights into actionable improvements.

Team Leadership & Cluster Alignment

  • Lead, mentor and develop the cluster marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Provide strategic direction and support to on‑property marketing teams, ensuring alignment across locations.
  • Establish strong governance and ways of working to enable efficient collaboration.
  • Act as the central point of coordination between properties, corporate teams and external partners.

Guest Experience & On‑Property Activation

  • Ensure marketing strategies translate into meaningful guest experiences across all properties.
  • Oversee on‑property activations, programming and events to reinforce brand positioning and drive engagement and revenue.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment between brand promise and guest experience.

Innovation, Trends & Market Intelligence

  • Maintain a strong understanding of trends across luxury, hospitality, fashion and culture.
  • Identify new opportunities for visibility, audience engagement and creative differentiation.
  • Continually challenge existing approaches, bringing fresh thinking and innovation to cluster marketing strategies.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 8–10+ years of experience in senior marketing roles within luxury hospitality, lifestyle, fashion or related sectors.
  • Fluency in English, with additional proficiency in Italian and Spanish considered a plus.
  • Proven experience leading multi‑property or regional marketing functions.
  • A strong track record in brand building, strategic partnerships and high‑impact campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of luxury audiences, cultural trends and brand positioning.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret market data and develop actionable strategies.
  • A strategic and commercial mindset with the ability to balance brand and business goals.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and guide cross‑functional teams.
  • High creative sensitivity and strong brand understanding.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and executional levels.
  • Strong organisation, pro‑activity and results orientation.
  • A valid EU work permit or EU citizenship.
  • Residency in Milan, Italy or available to move to Milan.
