Cloud Solution Architect - AD/Entra

Penta Consulting are a technology service provider and leading outsourced partner helping to deliver professional and managed solutions in Italy.

We are seeking a highly experienced, Italian speaking Identity SME with hands-on expertise in securing Microsoft Identity and related services, both on-premises and in the cloud. This role is pivotal in safeguarding sensitive information and ensuring robust security measures for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of advanced identity solutions leveraging Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory, setting technical direction for complex projects.
• Migration Expertise: Oversee and execute large-scale migrations from on-premises AD to cloud identity (Entra ID), including hybrid join strategies.
• Security Policy Management: Architect and maintain Conditional Access, MFA, and risk-based policies to ensure resilient identity protection.
• Governance & Compliance: Drive identity governance initiatives, including access reviews, entitlement management, and privileged identity management, aligned with best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Security Posture: Collaborate on security posture assessments and remediation plans for identity infrastructure, providing expert guidance to stakeholders.

Required Technical Skills:

• Deep Knowledge: Extensive expertise in Active Directory (tiering, federation, legacy protocol mitigation) and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including Entra Connect, ID Protection, and Permissions Management.
• Automation: Proficiency in PowerShell and Graph API for automating identity lifecycle and migration tasks.

Preferred Experience

• Leading large-scale identity migration projects.
• Implementing Zero Trust architecture.
• Shaping governance and compliance frameworks for identity management.
