Cloud Security & Networking Specialist

Overview:

The Cloud Security & Networking Specialist will be a key member of the global cyber security and networking team, responsible for the strategic planning, design, and implementation of highly complex group network infrastructure. This role requires extensive collaboration with international colleagues to establish global standards, lead new projects and drive advanced implementations. The specialist will directly oversee and manage all aspects of networking and communication (Switches, Lines, LAN, Wi-Fi, PBX, VoIP and networking security in manufacturing environments) across all Group affiliates and in the group cloud environments. He/she will provide expert guidance to resolve complex communication and networking issues and spearheading the design of innovative ICT infrastructures and networks. This role also involves developing and enforcing Corporate networking and Communication Policies, ensuring their consistent adoption and compliance across all affiliate companies. Moreover he/she will also dealt with networking and security in the cloud.

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

- Lead the configuration and upgrade of advanced switches, defining complex VLAN structures, port channels, and implementing robust security features to ensure secure LAN connectivity.

- Proactively monitor traffic patterns and optimize LAN performance.

- Design, implement and manage enterprise-grade Wi-Fi environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

- Oversee and manage the entire PBX infrastructure, including strategic planning for future enhancements.

- Strategically monitor and manage internet Data Links and SDWAN connectivity, including contract negotiations and vendor management with Corporate providers.

- Provide expert-level support and mentorship to affiliates for complex networking and communication issues, acting as a subject matter expert.

- Drive the evolution and scouting for new solutions, capabilities and technologies, including comprehensive research of potential new software, technologies, services and suppliers to ensure continuous advancement of Networking and Communications.

- Lead international projects focused on networking security within manufacturing environments, ensuring compliance with global standards and best practices.

- Implement and manage cloud security measures, including access controls, data encryption and threat detection.

- Design, configure and maintain cloud networking infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and connectivity.

Job Requirements:

- Master's degree in Telecommunication or Information Technology or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in managing Networks and Wi-Fi in complex CISCO environments, with a proven track record of leading significant projects.

- Extensive experience in strategic supplier management and contract negotiation.

- Recognized expert in advanced networking systems and communication protocols, with a deep understanding of emerging technologies.

- Comprehensive knowledge and extensive experience in ICT and Manufacturing Security.

- Excellent proficiency (verbal and written) in English language.
