️ Cloud Engineer / Cloud Architect – Freelance Opportunity (Turin / Milan)
Must be based in Italy – No sponsorship available
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer / Cloud Architect to join an exciting long‑term project with a major enterprise client in Turin . If you thrive in complex cloud environments, love designing scalable architectures, and enjoy taking technical leadership, this role is for you.
This position is open to freelancers and offers a hybrid work model with 2 days per week onsite in Turin .
What You’ll Do
As a Cloud Engineer / Architect, you will:
- Design, implement, and optimize cloud architectures for enterprise‑scale environments
- Lead technical decisions and guide project teams on cloud best practices
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and automated cloud solutions
- Contribute to cloud modernization initiatives and infrastructure automation
Required Skills & Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering , or related field
- 5+ years of experience in the IT industry with strong focus on cloud and distributed systems
- 2+ years as a Technical Leader and/or Project Manager on cloud projects
- Fluent in English (C1) and Italian (C1)
✨ Nice-to-Have Skills
- Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert, etc.)
- Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of datacenter networking: IP, VLAN, VxLAN, BGP
- Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies
