Senior Cloud Engineer (Full Remote)
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to design and maintain robust, scalable infrastructure for enterprise-grade applications. The role focuses on automation, reliability, and security in cloud environments.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and operate container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes/OpenShift)
- Apply Infrastructure as Code principles using tools like Terraform
- Develop automation scripts and workflows to streamline operations
- Implement strategies for backup, disaster recovery, and high availability
- Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency
- Support CI/CD pipelines and GitOps deployment models
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years in cloud engineering or DevOps roles
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes/OpenShift and major cloud providers (AWS/Azure)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash)
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools and CI/CD systems (GitLab)
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards
- Excellent communication skills in English
