Description of the Role

We’re looking for a Cloud Data Engineer ready to take the next step in their career. You’ll join a young, dynamic, and growth-oriented team working on modern data platforms and real-world business challenges.



Main Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud-based data solutions, with a strong focus on Databricks and Azure environments.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines using Apache Spark and Delta Lake within Databricks.
  • Apply Databricks Lakehouse architecture principles, leveraging Unity Catalog for data governance and access control.
  • Follow and promote Databricks best practices for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into scalable, secure and efficient solutions.


Essential Requirements

  • 2 years of hands-on experience in Big Data and Cloud technologies, especially with Databricks (e.g. Spark, Delta Lake, Notebooks, Workspace).
  • Familiarity with Lakehouse architecture and Unity Catalog .
  • Proficiency in SQL and good knowledge of relational databases.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (preferably Azure, but GCP and AWS also considered)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or other data-related disciplines (minimum graduation score: 100/110).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Teamwork skills and problem-solving abilities in dynamic contexts.


Nice to Have Requirements

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Experience with orchestration tools (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Airflow).
  • Basic knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Interest in Data Visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI) is a plus.
