Prometeia, a European leader in Wealth Management and Enterprise Risk Management solutions, is seeking a Senior Delivery Specialist to join its IT team in Milan or Bologna.

Role and Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate has technical expertise and leadership skills to manage and coordinate software application delivery activities.

Responsibilities include supporting internal and external customers in configuring and integrating our products, and contributing to project planning and execution.

Main Tasks:

1. Coordinate Application Maintenance and Delivery activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and business objectives.
2. Supervise and mentor junior and mid-level team members.
3. Configure software products for customers.
4. Plan and manage project activities, including monitoring, reporting, and resource management.
5. Implement and manage microservice environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
6. Manage relational and NoSQL databases to ensure optimal application performance.
7. Develop procedures for integrating customer data to and from Prometeia's products in a cloud environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles, with proven leadership and project management skills.
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, especially Azure.
• Advanced skills in relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Ability to lead technical and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in planning, managing, and delivering IT projects.
• Proficiency with scripting and automation tools (Python, PowerShell).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Databricks and data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of object-oriented development (OOP).
• Certifications in Cloud (Azure) and Project Management (PMP, Prince2, Agile).
• Extensive experience managing microservice environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
