For our new climbing hall in Bolzano (Waltherpark), we are seeking a Climbing Gym Manager starting in October. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring safety, fostering a welcoming environment, and engaging with the community to deliver an exceptional climbing experience.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the climbing gym
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including safety drills and inspections
- Oversee facility maintenance, cleanliness, and equipment functionality
- Recruit, hire, and supervise staff; manage staff schedules
- Promote the gym through community events, partnerships, and outreach
- Coordinate climbing programs, classes, and competitions
- Manage logistics for incoming and outgoing goods
- Coordinate with Waltherpark administration and logistics
- Prepare and present monthly financial reports to the supervisor
Profile
- Proven experience in gym or facility management
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in the climbing industry
- Fluent in German and Italian; good command of English
