Within the Climate Technical Excellence unit, we are looking for a senior professional to shape and implement the Group’s approaches to NatCat pricing and risk accumulation monitoring. This role will define methodologies, tools, and deliverables that enable Business Units to price NatCat risks accurately and to monitor risk accumulations effectively. The position will play a central role in transforming advanced risk insights into business‑oriented solutions and ensuring consistency across markets.

The job holder can be based in Milan and Trieste .

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Defining methodologies and approaches to improve the performance of NatCat insurance value chain steps (pricing, risk accumulation monitoring, loss prevention, claims management, …) across the Group
  • Translating quantitative outputs from risk understanding and modelling into actionable inputs for BUs
  • Supporting the development of tools and templates to support BU implementation of defined practices
  • Engaging regularly with BU stakeholders to ensure methodologies are applied consistently and address local business needs
  • Establishing the calendar, format, and content of deliverables to BUs, ensuring timely support
  • Acting as a senior advisor to top management and BUs on NatCat insurance value chain

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in pricing, underwriting, or accumulation management within insurance or reinsurance
  • Strong actuarial and quantitative background, with in-depth knowledge of NatCat risk
  • Proven ability to design and implement technical methodologies across multiple markets
  • Hands‑on experience with catastrophe models and exposure management systems
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance local BU needs and Group requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical analyses into clear recommendations for executives
  • Strategic mindset, with experience leading transformation or innovation initiatives in risk management
