Civil Quantity Surveyor

For our own projects, we are looking for a: CIVIL QUANTITY SURVEYOR

MISSION:

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing all civil quantity surveying activities, ensuring accurate cost estimation, budget control, and contract management throughout the execution of a bio refinery project.

TASKS:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil and structural works, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and provide cost control to prevent overruns.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities for civil and concrete works.
• Evaluate and certify subcontractor progress claims, variations, and payment applications.
• Support contract administration, including preparation, review, and negotiation of contract terms.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align cost control with project progress.
• Analyze project risks related to cost and propose mitigation measures.
• Prepare periodic cost reports and forecasts to support management decisions.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Civil Quantity Surveyor in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of civil construction methods, cost estimation, and contract administration.
• Proficiency in English and Italian
