Civil Engineer (Internship)

Junior Site Civil Engineer (Intern) – Rome, Italy

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Site Surveys & Assessments: Perform on‑site evaluations to verify structural readiness, power availability, and environmental compliance. Identify risks and propose solutions, with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability.
• Support Installation Coordination: Assist in managing installation activities for antennas, poles, power systems, and energy solutions (e.g., solar panels). Track progress and ensure alignment with project timelines.
• Manage Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate records including BOQs (Bill of Quantities), design drawings, and as‑built documentation. Ensure all deliverables meet Huawei and customer standards.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with vendors, project managers, and engineering teams to resolve issues, conduct progress meetings, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and sustainability standards.
• Drive Energy Optimization: Support the integration of renewable energy solutions (e.g., solar, battery storage) and evaluate their impact on site and carbon footprint.

Requirements

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or a related technical field, graduating between January 2025 and December 2027.
• Proficiency in structural and electrical calculations, technical documentation, and software tools like Office, AutoCAD, Revit, ProSAP, PVSyst (or similar). Knowledge of renewable energy (solar in particular) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage cross‑project tasks and stakeholder needs. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Language Requirements: Good command of English and fluent in Italian.
