CIAM Security Specialist (Nevis)

ESPRIMO Srl, an IT consultancy company that has been operating since 2002 throughout the national and international territory, supporting businesses, is positioned in the Information Technology sector with the aim of providing a wide range of products, services and solutions in the most strategic areas for the company, such as: IT Infrastructure, Content Management, ERP, Business Intelligence, CRM, Web Applications, is looking for a:

CIAM Security Specialist (Nevis) with at least 2 years of experience

We are looking for a person passionate about application security and identity architectures who wants to specialize (or is already specialized) in the Nevis product suite (Nevis Identity Suite / Nevis Security Suite).

The role is strongly focused on analysis, troubleshooting, and governance of the CIAM (Customer Identity & Access Management) solution within complex enterprise architectures, rather than on pure software development.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain CIAM solutions based on Nevis within modern software architectures
• Analyze and resolve complex authentication, authorization, and federation issues
• Manage and validate Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules (especially ModSecurity) and correlate security events
• Support development, architecture, and operations teams in properly integrating the CIAM platform
• Collaborate with the vendor (Nevis/AdNovum) and various cross-functional internal teams
• Perform repetitive validation and tuning activities on security rules with accuracy and a methodical approach

Technical Requirements

• Strong understanding of the role of CIAM within enterprise architectures (authentication flows, sessions, tokens, risk-based authentication, etc.)
• Solid knowledge of federation protocols: OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0
• Excellent knowledge of the protocol
• Hands-on experience with Web Application Firewalls , preferably ModSecurity (rules, tuning, false positives, CRS)
• Familiarity with scripting languages used in Nevis: Lua and Groovy

Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications)

• Background in web application development (Java, .NET, Node.js, or PHP), even if development is not a daily activity
• Good system administration knowledge and strong command of Unix/Linux environments (shell, processes, file system, permissions)
• Previous experience with Nevis products
