Chip Validation Software Engineer

Overview

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) to continually released innovations that distinguish AWS services. As a member of the UC organization, you will support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services. An exciting opportunity to join Amazon in developing its next generation products for the cloud market, working in a team-oriented environment. We are looking for exceptional software engineers to help develop the next generation chips based on a revolutionary architecture.

In this job you will design and develop software for functional and performance validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop system-level software targeting chip architecture, functional correctness, and performance across various platforms; validate chip functionality.

Qualifications

• Basic – Electrical/Computer Science engineer. Please include a grade sheet/academic transcript along with your CV in a single PDF when submitting your application.
• Preferred – Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts; experience in software development in related fields (listed in the original job description).
