A protagonist of the main strategic programs at a global level, it is a technological and industrial partner of Governments, Defense Administrations, Institutions and companies.Within the Chief Technology Office (CTO) area, we are looking for a resource with a CTO Radio profile to join our team in Genoa for the Avionic Communications and Data Link product lines.The resource will have among their activities:* Selection, growth and integration of suitable radio algorithms for products in areas such as Smart Antenna and Low-Probability-Detection, Low-Probability-Intercept, Low-Probability-Exploitation* Synthesis of algorithms and solutions identified in the final requirement of the radio product with the aim of ensuring the international competitiveness of our products* Identification and monitoring of technological trends;
* Support and collaboration with external bodies (industrial / research);
* Participation in Working Groups (WG) in collaboration with and in support of Defense entities;
* Participation in thedefinition of new product offering proposals.**Educational qualification:**STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics). Preferably in telecommunications engineering, mathematics, electronic engineering and physics and/or PhD in the technological sector of radio communications.**Required experience level:** Junior/Medium* The resource will be able to progressively develop their skills up to the role, in perspective and with the approval of the internal tutor, of Area Technical Leader**Technical skills and knowledge:*** Concept of the main technologies for radio communications: TDMA, CDMA, FDMA and modulations;
* Software-Defined-Radio: architectures and solutions, waveforms;
* Basic knowledge of antenna array systems and methods for Transmission Security* Knowledge of Matlab package and associated working methodologies* Ability to compare competitor product functionalities for competitive analysis;
* Office suite.**Behavioral skills:*** Interest in consolidating one's competence in radio technologies and technological innovation* Focus on technical-scientific investigation for Problem Solving through simulations* Strong propensity for teamwork, essential with company functions involved in the product life cycle* Relational skills, both within the company and towards clients* Proactivity**A plus are:**the possession of technical knowledge and experiences:* design and development of radio systems* Other network simulation environments: Omnest++, Opnet, NS-3* Experiences in HW/SW implementation and knowledge of development processes and avionic certifications* Knowledge acquired in systemic and/or technological fields* availability to work on classified military programs**Language skills:** Knowledge of English (>
