CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER– ABOUT THE ROLE


Officina Stellare is a leading player in the production of opto-mechanical systems, focusing on the implementation of innovative mechanical solutions. The CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER (CTO ), who will report to the CEO, plays a pivotal role in guiding the technological advancement of Officina Stellare. This position is responsible for developing strategic solutions, fostering cross-domain knowledge sharing, and ensuring technical alignment between the company's offerings and final products.

We are seeking candidates with a solid technical foundation and deep expertise in the aerospace industry, combined with a curious, forward-thinking mindset and a strong vision for emerging technologies.


WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO

  • Define and continuously update the company’s technology roadmap, identifying potential strategic partnerships.
  • Oversee Research & Development activities aimed at generating reusable solutions to be integrated into products and domain offerings.
  • Coordinate and develop the Engineering Capabilities Leaders (Mechanical, Optical, Electronic, System), promoting technical excellence and standardization of methods.
  • Ensure technical synergy among domains, avoiding duplication and encouraging architectural convergence and reuse.
  • Support the IPDT team in critical technical decisions, particularly in the definition of system architectures.
  • Promote the adoption of enabling technologies such as modeling, simulation, testing, and digital tools.
  • Represent Officina Stellare in innovation partnerships with research institutions, universities, and strategic partners.


YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER (CTO)

  • A strong technical background in aerospace engineering or related fields.
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams and projects.
  • A curious and open mindset, with a passion for emerging technologies.
  • Strategic vision and the ability to anticipate future industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Contract: permanent
  • Location: Sarcedo, Vicenza (Italy).
  • Working time: full time, hybrid.
