The CTPO will be responsible for defining the overall vision, strategy, and execution of both the product roadmap and the technological direction of the organisation. Acting as a strategic bridge between market needs, client expectations, Sales, development teams, and the executive leadership, the CPTO will drive innovation, ensure technical excellence, and build a high‑performing product organisation.
The resource will be responsible for shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of the products' roadmap, working closely with Sales and the CTO. They will act as the bridge between market needs, client requests, and technical development, ensuring the solutions remain at the forefront of industry trends and client expectations.
Product Strategy & Roadmap:
- Develop and own the product roadmap, aligning with market trends, client needs, and business objectives.
- Gather and analyze feedback from clients, sales, and market research to identify opportunities for product optimization and innovation.
- Present product roadmaps and strategic recommendations to the CTO and executive team.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work in close partnership with Sales to understand client requirements and market dynamics, with a focus on the sell side.
- Translate client and market needs into actionable product ideas and requirements for the technical team.
- Liaise with the CTO to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with product vision.
Vendor & Market Insight:
- Maintain a deep understanding of the trading technology landscape, including vendors, market infrastructure, and regulatory trends.
- Build and nurture relationships with key vendors and industry partners.
Quality & Delivery:
- Lead the Quality Assessment team, ensuring all products meet the highest standards before release.
- Oversee product demos and represent the company at industry conferences and events.
Client Engagement:
- Manage and prioritize client requests, selecting those that drive product value and differentiation.
- Act as the representant of the client within the organization, advocating for features and enhancements that align with business goals.
Requisiti:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related discipline.
Strategic & Analytical Capability: strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess markets, competitors, client segments, and potential M&A opportunities to support strategic product and technology decisions.
Product Expertise: proven experience in product management within trading technology, ideally in a vendor environment. Ability to identify innovative product positioning, bringing creative and differentiated perspectives to product evolution.
Product Roadmap Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build, own, and execute a comprehensive product roadmap, including defining functionalities, setting development priorities, evaluating value creation, and aligning timelines with strategic goals.
Technical Proficiency: Strong technical acumen with the ability to challenge development teams, understand system architectures, ensure the feasibility and quality of technical solutions, and guarantee adherence to the technology roadmap.
Financial Markets & Trading Technology Knowledge: deep understanding of financial markets, trading platforms, and client workflows, with a strong focus on the sell side.
Client‑Centric Requirements Translation: ability to translate complex client needs into clear, structured, and actionable requirements for cross‑functional teams.
Leadership & Team‑Building: proven managerial capability to build, guide, and scale high‑performing Product organisations, defining culture, governance, processes, and operational rituals.
Communication & Stakeholder Management: excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, able to engage effectively with both technical and commercial stakeholders at all organisational levels.
Excellent command of the English language.
