We are looking for a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join our Group in a growing and challenging environment
The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) will be responsible for defining, managing and implementing the organization’s cybersecurity strategy, ensuring that digital systems, services and information assets are adequately secured and protected.
The role works closely with senior management, key business functions and external authorities to ensure an effective and resilient cybersecurity posture
Key Responsibilities
- Define, implement, communicate and maintain cybersecurity objectives, requirements, strategies and policies aligned with the business strategy and organizational goals
- Prepare and present the cybersecurity vision, strategy and policies for approval by senior management and ensure their effective execution
- Supervise the application, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Information Security Management System (ISMS)
- Educate senior management on cybersecurity risks, threats and their potential impact on the organization
- Ensure senior management formally reviews and approves the organization’s cybersecurity risks
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity and incident response plans
- Build and maintain relationships with cybersecurity-related authorities, regulators and professional communities
- Report cybersecurity incidents, risks, vulnerabilities and findings to senior management
- Monitor advancements in cybersecurity technologies, threats and best practices
- Secure the resources required to implement the cybersecurity strategy
- Negotiate and manage the cybersecurity budget in collaboration with senior management
- Ensure the organization’s resilience against cyber incidents
- Manage continuous cybersecurity awareness and capacity-building initiatives across the organization
- Review, plan and allocate appropriate cybersecurity resources
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity or related fields
Advanced Education (Preferred)
- Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security Management or Risk Management
Technical Certifications
- CISSP
- CISM
- CISA
- CRISC
Technical Skills
- Network and system architecture
- Cloud security (AWS, Azure)
- Incident response and digital forensics
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Risk management and regulatory compliance (GDPR, NIS2, ISO/IEC 27001)
- Application security
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in role such as Security Engineer, Head of Cybersecurity or CISO
