Chief Financial Officer

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer with approximately 20 years of experience in financial management, ideally within the infrastructure, construction, or oil and gas sectors. This is a senior, strategic role focusing on financial planning, risk management, and supporting long‑term growth across international markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the financial management of the organization
• Supervise, coach, and guide a team of 10–15 finance professionals
• Develop and implement robust financial policies, controls, and forecasting practices
• Advise the executive team and Board on financing, risk, and investment strategies
• Maintain statutory and tax compliance across jurisdictions
• Travel frequently to Tanzania and other international project locations

Requirements

• Approximately 20 years of experience in financial roles within infrastructure, construction, oil & gas, or related sectors
• Strong financial and business acumen with a strategic mindset
• Excellent command of English (Italian is a plus, but not required)
• Willingness and ability to travel periodically to Tanzania and other locations as required
• Skilled in leading and managing a finance team of 10–15 staff
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities across international teams
