Chief Financial Officer (Retail Unit)

About the position

We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven CFO to lead the finance function of a fast-growing Retail Unit across Europe (consumer electronics). Acting as a key business partner to the CEO of Retail Business Unit, you will drive profitability, support multi-channel growth (offline, e-commerce, marketplaces), and ensure strong financial governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy and support business growth across European markets
• Own P&L performance, with focus on margins, channel and category profitability
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Optimize working capital (inventory, cash flow, stock efficiency)
• Obtain necessary financing facilities to enable growth
• Partner with commercial teams on pricing, promotions, and expansion initiatives
• Ensure accurate reporting (IFRS) and strong internal controls

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in finance, including leadership roles (CFO / Finance Director / Head of Finance)
• Proven background in retail, consumer electronics, FMCG, or distribution
• Strong Financial Planning & Analysis and commercial finance expertise
• Solid understanding of retail KPIs (gross margin, sell-through, inventory turnover)
• Experience in multi-country European environment
• Strategic mindset with a hands‑on approach and strong stakeholder management skills
• Good knowledge of English
