As part of our ongoing effort to anticipate future executive and transformation opportunities in Italy, FIT IN NETWORK is expanding its certified executive network in preparation for mandates expected to start in the coming months.

We aim to connect with Chief Financial Officers experienced in supporting organizations at key moments of strategic evolution and to build a qualified pipeline of finance leaders for upcoming mandates.

Types of organizations typically concerned include international groups, regional holdings or fast‑growing mid‑sized companies; strong growth, regional expansion, professionalisation or post‑acquisition phase.

We are looking for finance leaders open to permanent CFO roles in Italy in the near future.

Main responsibilities

• Lead all financial operations at the Group level, strategic planning, commercial performance; including controlling, accounting, cash management
• Financial reporting and compliance, oversight of forecasting, reporting with group policies. Manage and implement actions after internal and external audits.
• Manage ongoing transformation projects in alignment with the Group's strategic roadmap.
• Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and contribute to business decision‑making processes with strong stakeholder management.
• Supervise monthly closings, budget processes, and ensure compliance with international accounting standards.

Qualifications

• 10–20 years of professional experience in finance leadership roles.
• Track record in companies with revenues between EUR 100M and EUR 1B.
• Proven experience as CFO, Finance Director or Head of Finance.
• Strong understanding of international accounting standards, governance and financial structuring.
• Exposure to industrial environments is a strong advantage.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Strategic and operational finance leadership.
• Hands‑on mindset in scaling and structuring environments.
• Solid communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to operate in multicultural and fast‑growing contexts.
