Via Sumapaz is the concession company responsible for the Bogotá – Girardot highway corridor, a strategic infrastructure project supporting mobility and economic development in Colombia.

CFO (Chief Financial Officer) F/M

Member of the Executive Committee, the CFO plans, controls, and manages the financial and administrative resources of the concession in order to achieve its strategic objectives, maximize shareholder value, ensure regulatory and legal compliance, and align the company’s performance with VINCI Group standards.

Reporting line : hierarchically to the CEO of the Concession Via Sumapaz, functionally to the Executive Finance Director of VINCI Highways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the company’s financial strategy in alignment with concession objectives, VINCI Group policies, and long-term value creation, while optimizing financial performance and shareholder returns.
  • Maintain close interaction with external stakeholders, including shareholders, lenders, auditors, advisors, and public authorities, ensuring strong governance and transparency.
  • Oversee project finance, funding structures, debt, covenants, and treasury management, optimizing cash flows and capital allocation.
  • Lead budgeting, financial control, and reporting, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant reporting to shareholders and the VINCI Group, and supporting effective project oversight.
  • Ensure robust internal controls, procurement governance, and regulatory compliance, safeguarding the company’s legal and financial security.
  • Collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to align operational priorities with strategic objectives and support informed decision-making.
  • Lead strategic planning and continuous improvement, ensuring effective management systems, process performance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide strong leadership and governance, developing high-performing Finance and Administration teams.
  • Champion a culture of innovation, collaboration, and environmental sustainability, while actively promoting VINCI’s culture and values across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields. Specialization or Master’s degree in Finance, Financial Management, Administration, or related areas.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in senior financial roles, ideally within transport infrastructure, concessions, or PPP projects.
  • Experience/knowledge in corporate finance, project finance, structured finance, budgeting, financial analysis, accounting, and taxation; Knowledge in M&A and investment processes.
  • Leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish is mandatory.
