Position Summary

Main Responsibilities

  • 1. Leadership and Resource Management: Lead and manage engineering teams, providing direction and driving authority to secure successful business outcomes. Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize resource allocation and project execution.
  • 2. Customer Solutions and Support: Provide customers with integrated solutions and expert support in adopting new technologies. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions that enhance their operations.
  • 3. Innovation and Synergy Maximization: Maximize synergies across product platforms, ensuring seamless integration and performance. Implement cutting-edge improvements to enhance product functionality and efficiency.
  • 4. Technical Expertise: Oversee the design, development, and testing of EV systems and components. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. System ownership along the lifecycle.
  • 5. Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely and successful completion. Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Job Position Requirements

  • Education: University master degree - Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or related)
  • Professional background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field. Minimum 10 years of diversified experience in the multi-disciplinary development of vehicles or vehicle subsystems. You also have experience in combining a broad technical expertise with managerial soft skills. Proven experience in leading engineering teams and managing complex projects. Strong organizational, team building, problem solving, planning, decision-making & interpersonal skills. Experience and track record in technical design and delivering technical product development projects. Understanding of company competition, their products, and potential customer application. Strong knowledge of electric vehicle technology and industry trends.
  • Considered as a plus: Diversified experience in project management functions, preferably in the multi-disciplinary development of vehicles or vehicle subsystems. Knowledge of Off-Highway market & the related applications, standards & regulations.

  • Able to work effectively in a cross-functional environment, having excellent interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English (writing & speaking)
  • Strong communication skills, including customer presentations, report out to OH leadership and project review meetings and status reports

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
