Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Head of Financial Control to lead our Finance function in Italy.

This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and team leadership. You will ensure accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with international standards.

You will also play a crucial part in process optimization and transformation initiatives across the Italian market.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Present key financial insights and balance sheet movements to senior management.
• Act as primary point of contact for banks, auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate with operations, business controllers, and international finance teams to improve processes and reporting quality.
• Lead projects to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and automation within the Finance function.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven track record in structuring and optimizing accounting processes.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in private equity, M&A, or auditing environments is an advantage.
