Chemist (Laboratory Technician) – Rome, Italy

As a member of the laboratory team in Rome, you will report directly to the local manager.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards of the laboratory.
2. Performing and verifying tests, checking the conformity of received samples, and reporting any anomalies to the Laboratory Manager.
3. Identifying and recording samples, and assigning parameters/tests based on instructions from the Laboratory Manager.
4. Analyzing, handling, and storing samples according to established procedures, which vary depending on the sample type and customer requirements.
5. Maintaining calibration, verification, and maintenance of laboratory equipment, documenting activities through laboratory software, and updating instrument records.
6. Managing the reagent warehouse as per quality procedures.
7. Implementing the requirements of the Quality Plan and the Integrated Management System, and developing test procedures until method validation.
