CHEMICAL PLANT PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR -
DUNA-CorradiniS.p.A is seeking a Production Supervisor for its production facility in Soliera (MO). This position will be part of the OPERATIONS and will report to the Chief Technologies Officer. The candidate must have at least 3-5 years of experience in medium-to-large, modern, and technologically complex manufacturing companies. The candidate will ensure the proper execution of production preparation operations and the Chemical Department's production process, including formulation, foam processing, and foaming, with a focus on continuous improvement, work organization, and team and resource management.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the use of department resources in terms of equipment and personnel to achieve the required quantitative and qualitative results, with particular attention to: Efficiency of assigned processes, Organization of the positioning of human resources at workstations, Overall reduction of waste, particularly waste produced by the department.
- Collaborate with the Planning/Logistics/Customer Care and R&D functions for all aspects of finished/semi-finished products in terms of: Planning and optimization of production schedules; Ensuring the availability of finished/semi-finished products within the planned and requested timeframes, quality, and quantity; Management of warehouse space, storage, and proper use of packaging; Manage aspects of hygiene, workplace safety, and environmental issues.
- Coordinate overall departmental improvement by applying efficiency and continuous improvement methods.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemistry / diploma in chemical engineering or technical expertise.
- Good knowledge of basic chemistry, physics, process technologies, and plant programming.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
- Proven leadership skills and excellent teamwork.
- Residence within (max. 25 km) of the workplace (Soliera, Modena).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience managing complex plants.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and the most common ERP systems.
- Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering and mechanics.
