This role is the ideal starting point for a career as a Chartered Manager. You’ll develop skills in leadership, communication, strategic planning, and business improvement, gaining practical experience that complements your academic learning.
Throughout the 30‑month apprenticeship, you’ll take on a supervisory role from day one, managing operations, leading projects, and making decisions that drive results.
What You’ll Do

During Your Apprenticeship, You’ll Learn How To:

A Day In The Life
- Managing and supporting a team to deliver daily performance goals

- Supporting strategic initiatives to enhance customer experience and efficiency

- Balancing studies with real‑world application, dedicating 20% of time to degree learning
- Applying new management theories to solve everyday operational challenges
About The Team
You’ll work in one of our operational sites – the heart of Amazon’s customer experience – leading and developing teams in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment. While you’ll be placed within a specific site, you’ll collaborate with leaders across Amazon’s network to share ideas and best practices.
Qualifications and Eligibility
- Be a UK national, a non‑UK national with the right to work in the UK, or an EU national with settled status in the UK
- Have lived in the UK, an EEA country, or a British Overseas Territory for 3 years or more prior to commencing the apprenticeship (September 2026)
- Have the right to live and work in England (if you are on a visa, this must enable you to legally work and reside in England for the entire duration of the programme until March 2029)
- Be resident in the UK for the entire duration of the programme
- Not be registered on another UK government‑funded course ending August 2026 or later
- Be 18 years old or older before entering an Amazon building (September 2026)
- Have at least 5 GCSEs C grade (grade 4) or above including Maths and English
- Have 3 A Levels at grade C or above (or equivalent)
- Have at least 2 years’ supervisory experience (essential), including experience overseeing projects, operations, budgets, or teams – with accountability for delivery, outcomes, and performance
- Provide a Statement of Comparability for any educational qualifications outside the UK (through UK ENIC)
- Previous qualifications will be reviewed for funding eligibility and offers are subject to funding approval
- Position is a 30‑month fixed‑term contract; applicants must not already hold a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship
- This apprenticeship assumes the candidate has little or no knowledge/experience of the occupation
