Overall Job Description

The Channel Marketing position is responsible for defining and developing global programs in a multi-channel environment that support the coordination and maximization of channel partner success in selling Matica Group products and services to targeted markets. This includes definition, development, and management of Matica Group’s channel marketing programs. It also includes channel training, channel events, joint partner marketing opportunities, business development, and channel marketing deliverables including sales tools.

For the studies and planning part, the channel marketing manager should help guiding strategic marketing and sales efforts and help the management to make informed business decisions by providing valuable insights into market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscapes.


Major Job Responsibilities

  • Develop overall channel marketing plan including definition, implementation, promotion, effectiveness and partners satisfaction measurement.
  • Coordination, management, administration and execution of channel programs and campaigns (e.g. MDF, Deal Registration, Partner Portal, Appreciation, etc.).
  • Coordination of Matica Group involvement in major partner events including user conferences, exhibits at industry trade events.
  • Market sensing to identify emerging channel opportunities.
  • Development and deployment of selling tools and materials (e.g. ROI models, white papers, sales kits/welcome kits, videos, collateral, webinars, etc.) in conjunction with the Marketing Communication Manager
  • Development and delivery of channel sales training.
  • Assistance to Matica Group Channels Sales team and to channel partners in support of sales opportunities.
  • Sales support to channel partners for resolution of issues and questions.
  • Develop annual plans and budgets and manage to define expectations and objectives.
  • Launch and manage marketing projects (like CRM implementation and development), including project management dimensions by providing activity plans, status monitoring, milestones management, issues highlighting and solution definition.
  • CRM roll-out, management and development throughout all Matica Group organization and Distribution
  • Market Research: conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats. Gather data on market size, growth rates, and key players.
  • Competitor Analysis: Monitor and analyze competitor activities, products, and strategies. Identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities.
  • Customer Analysis: Segment and profile our current and potential customer base to understand their needs, preferences, and behavior. Use this information to define marketing strategies.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data from various sources, including surveys, customer feedback, and industry reports. Use statistical techniques to derive meaningful insights.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations summarizing research findings, market trends, and recommendations for senior management.


Knowledge and Skills

General Marketing

  • Development and management of marketing strategies, mix, and tactics in support of business objectives.
  • Project management.

  • Microsoft application use.
  • Outstanding communication skills (written, verbal, presentation).
  • Customer and partner engagement skills.
  • Collaboration and consensus building with multiple internal functions.
  • Analytical skills and Business Acumen.
  • Fluent in Italian and working knowledge of English
  • Banking and check processing skills considered a plus.
  • Working knowledge of another Latin language (Spanish, Portuguese, French) considered a plus.
  • Salesforce system knowledge and use is considered a plus.
  • Passion for data-driven decision-making and a willingness to practice market research techniques


Position Specifics

  • 5+ years of business and market development experience.
  • Undergraduate degree in marketing and/or management, master degree preferred.
  • Channel plan development within the context of a multi-channel global environment.
  • Channel segmentation strategies.
  • Financial analysis of joint partner programs including ROI and IRR.
  • Channel programs, campaigns, and sales tools development.
  • Channel training.
  • CRM tool development and deployment.
  • Experience in utilizing channels to develop markets in a B2B context.
