Job Summary

As Channel Account Manager for Italy, you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients, focusing on Italy’s top 10 key accounts, which represent more than 50% of the market. Your success criteria are clear: delivering on sales targets while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

You will work closely with our Italian distributor partner(s) and play a central role in driving market growth in the entire country. An office in Modena supports our activities, but your role is field-based, engaging directly with customers and channel partners.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with Italy’s top AV integrators and distribution partners
  • Drive sales with the top 10 strategic customers while collaborating with the distributor on the broader market
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute sales processes – from first contact to signed contract
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline, ensuring CRM data is accurate and up to date
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop actionable go-to-market plans
  • Deliver regular account plans, business reviews and sales reports to management
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends, sharing insights with the European Sales team
  • Represent Biamp at trade shows and industry events in Italy and across Europe

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in direct B2B sales and channel partner collaboration
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in AV, control systems or related IT/tech hardware industries
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Strong track record in business development, account management, and closing complex sales
  • Skilled in value-based selling and structured B2B sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger Sales, MEDDIC, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in Italian and English
  • Strong self-drive and ability to work independently from a remote location
  • Comfortable with CRM systems, pipeline management and sales analytics
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% within Italy and internationally for trade shows
