Challenger 350-3500 Captain – Bergamo, Italy
Overview:
Crewlink, recruitment partner for airline clients including Ryanair, invites expressions of interest for a permanent Challenger 350-3500 Captain position based in Bergamo. The role is part of a 24/7 engineering support operation with a fixed 4/4 roster pattern, early and late standby shift patterns.
Location:
Bergamo, Italy (also contact for potential openings in other locations).
Compensation:
Up to €133,400 per annum (Bergamo) with the opportunity to fly to over 240 destinations on the Ryanair Group Network.
Minimum Requirements:
Unrestricted right to live and work in the EU.
Valid ATPL EASA or UK CAA issued Part FCL.
Valid EASA (Part-MED) or UK CAA issued Class 1 medical certificate.
English language proficiency at Operational Level (Level 4) (writing proficiency required at Operational level – ICAO Doc 9835).
Preference for candidates with a valid Challenger 350/3500 rating.
Minimum Flight Hours:
3000 total flight hours.
At least 1000 command hours in a multi‑crew, multi‑engine jet aircraft. Turbo‑prop hours may be considered.
Assessment & Selection:
Shortlisted candidates complete a SIM assessment on a B737 FFS.
Selection process takes place in Dublin (Ireland) or other airline training centres, with flights on the Ryanair Group network.
Selection stages include:
Pre‑simulator briefing.
Company presentation.
Simulator assessment – 45 minutes (pilot flying and pilot monitoring).
Technical assessment – 30 minutes (technical knowledge of current/previous aircraft types).
Personnel interview – 30 minutes, evaluating suitability for a hard‑working environment.
Successful candidates receive a placement on an upcoming course. Results are communicated within seven working days by phone or e‑mail.
