PE-backed industrial company | Lecco
Private Equity-backed industrial company sector is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function and support the company’s growth and value creation strategy.
The CFO will act as a strategic partner to the CEO and the Private Equity fund, ensuring strong financial governance, operational performance monitoring, and supporting potential M&A initiatives.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial controlling within manufacturing environments, with the ability to translate operational data into strategic financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Finance function, overseeing accounting, financial reporting, planning and treasury
- Manage budgeting, forecasting and long-term business planning
- Strengthen industrial controlling, monitoring margins by product, plant and customer
- Provide strategic financial insights to support operational and commercial decision-making
- Prepare monthly reporting and KPI analysis for the Private Equity shareholders
- Optimize working capital and financial structure
- Manage relationships with banks, advisors and external auditors
- Support M&A activities, including financial due diligence and post-acquisition integration
Requirements
- Significant experience in finance leadership roles within manufacturing or automotive environments
- Strong background in industrial controlling
- Experience working with Private Equity investors is a plus
- Proven ability to operate in fast‑paced, performance‑driven environments
- Strong analytical and leadership skills
- Fluency in English and Italian
- Location: Lecco, Italy
