Now, we are seeking a CFO in Italy who will be a key asset for ALTEN Italy development and will report to the CFO IN1. The successful candidate will have to have hands-on experience and understanding of project management and business partnering skills and be an excellent communicator and manager.

Your responsibilities

The CFO will have full responsibility for management of the financial and accounting function of the companies with regards to Account Receivables, Account Payables, Budget, reporting and Financial Controls, HR, Purchasing and Taxation.

Your objectives

  • Drive effective and efficient financial management, maintaining tight financial controls minimizing unexpected disruption to Company performance and results.
  • Ensure financial compliance for the business.
  • Support the senior management team in implementing the strategic direction of the business.
  • Being responsible for the reporting of working capital, identifying inefficiencies, setting targets, and leading initiatives to improve working capital ratios.
  • Demonstrate Group values and leadership behaviors in all interactions with stakeholders and by taking accountability for providing solutions and delivering on Company commitments.
  • To identify and action continuous improvement opportunities (e.g., systems, ways of working) within Finance processes and procedures.
  • Support risk management and the Project Manager by quantifying / assessing project-related exposures / opportunities on an ongoing basis and follow up on action plans.
  • Management of 7 direct reports located in Italy (controlling, Billing, Accounting, HR and Purchasing)
  • In coordination with the CFO IN1, you will be responsible for the definition and implementation of a “back office” organizational structure guaranteeing the application of all the group’s processes.
  • Analysis of the reports and reliability of the forecasts

Your qualifications

  • Master’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent professional.
  • Experience in managing both Finance and HR departments
  • Between 10+ years of experience.
  • Successful experience as a Controlling and / or Finance manager.
  • Appetence for international and multi-cultural environment.
  • You are fluent in English (excellent communicator).
  • Open for travel to EU.
