Mareblu is a leading company in the seafood sector , specialized in the production and marketing of fresh and frozen fish products. Recognized in its field and currently experiencing strong growth and innovation, Mareblu is looking for a Finance Director (M/F) to lead all fiscal, financial, and accounting matters, while supporting the General Manager in strategic decision-making.

Finance Director (M/F) – Mareblu

Your Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager , you will play a key role as a Business Partner and oversee all financial and fiscal activities of the company. Your main duties will include:

• Financial leadership & operations : Manage the Finance team (5 direct reports) and supervise all accounting, tax, and financial operations.
• External relations : Build and manage relationships with statutory auditors, internal/external auditors, tax authorities, consultants, and lawyers.
• Performance management : Define, monitor, and challenge financial and commercial KPIs (aging receivables, inventory, profitability by product and customer, NSV targets, marketing & SGA spending).
• Reporting & strategy : Prepare and present financial reports for monthly and yearly closing, as well as budget, mid-term, and long-term strategic plans.
• Compliance & governance : Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies, prepare statutory financial statements, management reports, explanatory notes, and act as Company Secretary for Board of Directors and Shareholder meetings.
• Strategic partnership : Support the General Manager on strategic projects (optimization, synergies with affiliated companies, European M&A opportunities, industrial and commercial initiatives).
• HR & organization : Supervise payroll processes in collaboration with the payroll provider and HR, approve transactions and contracts according to POA, and oversee GBS HUB team performance.

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within an international environment.
• Strong expertise in tax, accounting, and financial performance management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate closely with senior leadership.
• Recognized leadership and people management skills.
• Fluent in English (Italian is a plus).
