Catholic Administrative Religious Education Coordinator (CAREC) - $18-$22 per hour (based on experience) - USAG-Italy Vicenza Military Community


Position Type: Part-time, 1099 Contract


Compensation: Hours: 20 hours per week


Contract Duration: 1 Base Year + 4 Optional Years

What You’ll Do:

  • Support Religious Services: Work closely with the Catholic Chaplain and Priest to run services that provide spiritual nourishment to the community.
  • Lead Event Coordination: Take charge of planning and promoting religious events. This role will help you develop leadership and project management skills as you organize impactful community activities.
  • Manage Administrative Tasks: Keep the Catholic community organized by maintaining accurate records and supporting sacramental documentation. Your attention to detail will keep everything running smoothly.
  • Create Community Communications: Write and distribute bulletins and announcements, ensuring everyone is informed about upcoming events and services.


What You Bring to the Table:

  • Organizational Skills: You’re detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks at once.
  • Strong Communication: Whether it's coordinating events or creating announcements, you know how to engage and inform the community.
  • Faith-Oriented: You understand the importance of Catholic practices and are eager to support the military community in living out their faith.
  • Experience (Preferred): Event coordination or administrative experience is a plus, but we’re looking for someone passionate about this role and ready to learn.
