CATEGORY DIRECTOR DISH & COLD

As Category Director BA Food Europe you have the full responsibility for the category business results. In the role you drive the category strategy, its deployment and follow up on the commercial execution. You support the creation of innovative ranges and experiences collaborating closely with the other product lines and the commercial function to ensure the experience development of the Business Area Food Europe. Reporting to the CxO Head BA Food Europe, you collaborate with several stakeholders, managing the life cycle for the category and ensuring profitable growth. In addition to this, you are responsible for driving a customer centric business model in the BA and guaranteeing a complete customer value proposition.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Overall integrated P&L responsibility and definition of the category strategy
  • Collaborating in the global product definition to ensure coherence between business areas
  • Responsible for the commercial launch and execution of category products life cycle, model catalogue, including unique selling propositions, together with Regional Category Head and key markets.
  • Explore and validate new innovation opportunities for the category
  • Drive and manage the category connectivity roadmap in line with BA Food Europe ambition
  • Developing and defining marketing tools together with BA Food Europe Central marketing
  • Monitor and follow customer trends in the markets and bring insights in the CxO organization for relevant planning

WHAT'S NEEDED TO THRIVE

  • Degree in Economics / BA / Engineering or equivalent working experience
  • Solid experience (minimum 10 years) in a multinational company with a proven track record of success in one of the following functions: category management (product development), marketing and/or commercial areas.
  • Proven experience in managing people and strong leadership skills
  • Strong business acumen in an international scenario; familiar with marketing strategies and P&L management
  • Strong understanding of customer needs in the industry, with solid business and process knowledge
