Cash Application Specialist
We're looking for a detail‑oriented and experienced Cash Application Specialist to join our Accounts Receivable team. In this role you will apply daily cash receipts, reconcile statements, manage repayments, and support financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Accurately apply daily cash receipts from various customer types.
- Handle payment deductions and chargebacks from retail customers.
- Reconcile bank statements with daily cash receipts and perform month‑end AR‑to‑GL reconciliations.
- Process refunds and set up new payment methods for customers.
- Prepare account adjustments such as credits and write‑offs with proper documentation.
- Create daily cash receipt reports, monitor weekly AR trends, and analyze month‑end aging to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Gather weekly cash forecasts from entities to support financial planning and reporting.
Qualifications
- Professional proficiency in English (C1 level); additional languages are a plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Business.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in cash application or accounts receivable.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and exhibit strong negotiation, teamwork, time‑management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
