Career Opportunities: IT Business Partner, Operations

Your main responsibilities areas will be as below:

• Partner with business leadership and other key stakeholders to define opportunities and identify and prioritize projects based on IT operating model criteria.
• Ensure Business Areas, Functions and Operations/Processes short term, mid term and long-term needs are included to IT roadmaps and other plans
• Active contribution to Ahlstrom Stella program:
• Design future ways of working for Operations / Plan-To-Supply Process
• Ensure business requirements capture for Ahlstrom BU / plants
• Recognize potential gaps between requirements and Stella template
• Attend and execute testing on Ahlstrom plants
• Proactive contribution to Business Areas, Functions and Operations/Processes strategy and development
• Be the main business relationship link between business units and IT at the executive level
• Provide strategic consulting level support and guidance through key IT initiatives
• Proactively promote capabilities and possibilities of available and planned new technologies, fitting to target organization needs
• Communicate proactively on decisions, priorities and relevant project information, IT plans, operating model, analytic capabilities etc.
• Manage IT financials, risks and other relevant administrative processes related to own partnership organization
• Safeguard consistent IT platforms and architecture
• Ensure follow-up of IT governance model on decision making
• Coach own Partnership organization on IT & digital matters

Co operation network:

• Own Business Area / Function leadership and organization
• First-hand contact and feedback to IT, seamless team member of Business Area / Function / Operations
• Process owners and Process heads
• IT Governance bodies, IT Service managers, IT managers

Expected key competencies:

• Deep understanding of Business / Function / Operations context
• Deep understanding of Ahlstrom strategy, business and operations
• Understand the key financial drivers and dynamics related to growth and revenue goals
• Strong analytical skills, including an understanding of business economics and financial resources
