Call-Off Specialist

We are looking for a Call-Off Specialist to join our Italian Plant, reworking alongside with the different company departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the availability of materials based on production planning and scheduling
• Analyze the material requirements necessary for production
• Support production activities through information provided by the system and suppliers
• Verify/update delivery plans for assigned products on time in accordance with agreements with suppliers
• Reschedule purchase orders if necessary (non-compliant material blocked by the quality department, late delivery of material by the supplier, urgent request from the customer, etc.)
• Keep in daily contact with suppliers for deliveries, track ordered materials
• Release purchase orders for spare parts
• Collaborate on forecasting activities (short- and medium-term forecasts)
• Manage shippers to ensure materials are delivered on time
• Maintain inventory at budgeted levels - Overall commitment to optimizing and reducing inventory
• Plan inventory reduction activities to optimize inventory levels
• Reporting activities (inventory, KPIs, etc.)

Skills & qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management Engineering/Economics
• Minimum 1 year’ experience on a similar position in a middle sized or large production company
• Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of the practices and techniques of planning IT skills and MS Office skills required; SAP skills are recommended.

Languages:

• Fluency in Italian
• A good knowledge of English is highly recommended
