Call for PhD Applications 34 positions have been advertised for the XLI cycle, within the following PhD courses: 9 fellowships for Doctoral courses in Cellular and molecular biotechnologies; 3 fellowships for Doctoral courses in Food sciences; 2 fellowships for Doctoral courses in Veterinary medical sciences, public health and animal welfare; 3 fellowships for Doctoral course in Processes of harmonization of law between history and system; 7 fellowships for Doctoral courses in Economic and social sciences; 4 fellowships for Doctoral course in Historical studies from the Middle Ages to the contemporary age; 6 fellowships for Doctoral courses in European Studies For Innovation. The application for admission to the selection must be submitted by the peremptory deadline of 11:00 a.m. (Italian time) of 27 july 2026, exclusively online, through the specific procedure made available at the web address: www.unite.it (the platform will be active from 24June 2026) For technical problems that may arise while completing and sending the application, please contact PICA support by opening a ticket. Payment of €20 application fee (details on the online platform); A valid copy of your passport; Academic transcripts with course grades; At least one recommendation letter; Abstract of your Master's thesis (published or draft of in progress abstract); Research proposal aligned with the fellowship topic that each candidate has to select. The Master's degree must be awarded before enrollment in October 2026. - Only positions with fellowships are available. Selected candidates must not exceed a gross annual income of €16,243.00 in the years 2027, 2028 and 2029 to remain eligible for the program. Selection procedures
