About the Role
As a junior CAD designer, you will learn and work in a challenging team environment for a cutting-edge project devoted to an important project of transportation lines devoted to semiconductor manufacturing.
You will be working in our Bologna site along with a skilled layout team designing components assembly and integrating them in a complex layout.
Main responsibilities include:
- 3D model design of mechanical and electric assemblies (Solidworks).
- 2D-3D model design of layout objects (Autocad and Navisworks).
- Generation the BOM (Bill of material).
- Interface with the team working with the other components.
- Good understanding of technical drawings
- Coding and modifying new components in the PLM (ie: Windchill PTC or SAP) (not mandatory).
What You Need to Be Successful
- Basic knowledge of Solidworks and Autocad, nice to have Navisworks.
- Willingness to learn and improve.
- Good communication, capability either to work in a team and alone.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
- Ongoing or completed studies in engineering (mechanical, electrical).
