Job Title: CAD/CAM Mold Designer – Composite Materials
Location: Veneto, Italy
Contract: Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
We are looking for a Junior CAD/CAM Mold Designer to join a leading company in advanced composite manufacturing. This is a permanent position within a structured engineering team, offering competitive salary and clear technical growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert 3D models into manufacturable mold designs
- Design molds and tooling for composite material production
- Create detailed CAD models and technical drawings using Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D)
- Prepare CAM data for CNC machining
- Support prototype development and tooling improvements
- Work closely with engineering and production teams
- Prepare and review technical documents in English
Required Qualifications
- Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field
- Good knowledge of Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D)
- Basic understanding of CAD/CAM systems
- Ability to read and write technical documents in English
- Strong attention to detail and technical mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in composite materials (prepreg, infusion, autoclave)
- Experience in mold or tooling design
- Basic knowledge of CNC machining
- Team-oriented with good problem-solving skills
