CAD/CAM Mold designer

Job Title: CAD/CAM Mold Designer – Composite Materials Location: Veneto, Italy Contract: Permanent Start Date: As soon as possible We are looking for a Junior CAD/CAM Mold Designer to join a leading company in advanced composite manufacturing. This is a permanent position within a structured engineering team, offering competitive salary and clear technical growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities Convert 3D models into manufacturable mold designs Design molds and tooling for composite material production Create detailed CAD models and technical drawings using Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D) Prepare CAM data for CNC machining Support prototype development and tooling improvements Work closely with engineering and production teams Prepare and review technical documents in English Required Qualifications Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field Good knowledge of Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D) Basic understanding of CAD/CAM systems Ability to read and write technical documents in English Strong attention to detail and technical mindset Preferred Qualifications Experience in composite materials (prepreg, infusion, autoclave) Experience in mold or tooling design Basic knowledge of CNC machining Team-oriented with good problem-solving skills We offer a supportive and innovative work environment, a competitive salary, and real career development within a growing technical department.
