Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a CAD/CAM Engineer based in Turin, with the flexibility to work partially from home. We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic mechanical engineer to develop automotive or aerospace design activities and manage release processes. The role involves programming CAD, interacting with various teams, managing technical documentation, and contributing to key product development milestones. Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Excellent knowledge of Siemens NX and CAD/CAM tools
- At least 2/3 years' experience in mechanical design, preferably on automotive or aerospace components
- Familiarity with PLM
- Ability to read, interpret, and prepare drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of engine system fundamentals
Activity
- Defining and programminginnovative CAD/CAM solutions aimed at incorporating AI into the process.
- Support mechanical design development, including through design reviews and feasibility studies.
- Prepare, maintain, and release technical documentation, drawings, component/system development plans and specifications, and CAD models according to program timelines.
- Assist in problem resolution activities, contributing to root cause analyses and defining corrective actions.
- Manage design changes and ensure proper configuration release and control within PLM systems.
- Provide support during the prototype and pre-series construction phases by providing technical guidance and tracking design issues.
