About Type 7
Type 7 is a lifestyle editorial brand built around the culture of Porsche its cars, its people, and the worlds they inhabit. Through a daily online magazine, large-format books, films, and a growing range of objects and accessories, Type 7 explores the intersections of automotive culture with architecture, design, travel, and craft.
What began as a publishing platform has grown into a full creative brand, with a dedicated retail offering and an audience that shares a deep appreciation for the way things are made and the stories behind them.
We are now expanding our objects and accessories offering, and this role is central to making that a commercial reality.
The Role
This is an execution-focused role for someone who knows how to take a creative idea and turn it into a physical product, on time and on budget. The creative direction comes from our internal team. Your job is to convert that direction into manufacturable products, writing the technical specifications, managing the supply chain, and owning the process from first sample through to delivery. You will also be responsible for the commercial performance of the product range, working within budgets set by finance and reporting to the COO, commercials and CEO and all things product and strategy.
This is not a creative lead role. It is a role for someone who is rigorous, commercially minded, and deeply experienced in production and buying, and who can lead a creative team and be accountable to timelines and deliverables.
