Buyer - Moulded Glass

Gerresheimer moulded glass italy was established in December 2025, originating from the factories and headquarters of Bormioli Pharma group, which deals exclusively with moulded glass for pharmaceutical industry.

Job Description

As part of procurement team, the resource will take full responsibility for defined material groups and /or services and supplier relationships, ensuring supply security, cost competitiveness and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Independently manage RFQs and analyse supplier quotations
• Lead supplier selection and price benchmarking processes
• Create and manage purchase orders, monitor deliveries and optimize inventory levels
• Track supplier performance and proactively manage deviations in coordination with Planning, Quality, Finance and production sites
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical and internal standards

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or similar
• 2–5 years of experience in procurement, ideally in a manufacturing or regulated environment
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
• MS Office proficiency: ERP knowledge required
• Strong teamwork and interfaith communication skills; strong analytical mindset with structured, independent and results-oriented working style
• High level of ownership, resilience and ability to manage complexity
