Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer to manage procurement activities for Engineer-to-Order (ETO) projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, components, and services tailored to specific customer requirements and project specifications. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, project management, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of project‑critical items.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement for ETO projects, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to understand material requirements and lead times.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Issue purchase orders and monitor order status, ensuring on-time delivery and resolving any supply chain issues.
  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation and records in ERP systems.
  • Support cost control initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement in procurement processes.
  • Monitor supplier performance and develop strategic relationships with key vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, preferably in ETO or project-based manufacturing environments.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in mechanical or industrial engineering sectors.
  • Knowledge of international sourcing and logistics.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
