Jefferson Wells is looking for a Buyer / Procurement Specialist for a pharmaceutical company based in Carugate (MI).

Key Responsibilities

• Request and negotiate supplier quotations to secure optimal commercial and delivery conditions
• Create and issue purchase orders in SAP, ensuring accurate pricing and confirmed delivery dates
• Support management in resolving supply-related issues and ensuring continuous material availability
• Identify opportunities for new components or suppliers and propose related implementation projects
• Collaborate with global procurement teams on cost‑saving initiatives and harmonized solutions to supply challenges
• Manage supplier and component master data with high accuracy and compliance
• Perform data analytics on spend by supplier, purchase type, and department to support strategic decision‑making

Your Profile

• Degree in Economics or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement (experience in the pharmaceutical sector is a plus)
• Strong analytical skills with solid Excel and reporting capabilities
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems; SAP is a strong advantage
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure
• Proactive, improvement‑oriented mindset and strong teamwork attitude
• Good knowledge of both English and Italian, written and spoken
