  • The opportunity
  • As the Business Unit Quality Management Manager, you lead the governance and improvement of the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP), Quality Management Processes, and framework. You establish, deploy, manage, and continuously improve all systems and tools required to maintain a uniform business management process within the business unit, aligned with Hitachi Energy policies.

    • This position can be fulfilled completely remotely within Europe. We prioritize skills and experience over physical work location.
    • How you’ll make an impact
    • Quality Governance
    • You lead the governance and improvement of Quality Management Processes and framework, ensuring quality assurance by integrating Project & Site Quality and Product Quality processes, monitoring performance, and identifying value-added business improvements.
    • People and Strategy
    • You establish and enforce quality systems, practices, tools, and processes within the business unit through people engagement, development, and community management. Acts as a transmission chain between BU Quality, GPG- and Hub-Quality, and all your key stakeholders.
    • Customer Focus
    • You ensure the Voice of the Customer is represented within the global management systems, integrating customer feedback, and guiding teams to create innovative solutions with a customer perspective.
    • Continuous Improvement
    • You collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, define the BU Quality Improvement Plan, and identify quality improvements along the value chain.
    • Your background
    • You hold an Engineering degree and bring 10+ years of experience in a similar position within an international and matrix organization.
    • Qualifications: Lead Auditor Certification, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Quality), ISO certification, and auditing expertise.
    • You are a system thinker with an analytical and problem-solving mindset and proven records.
    • You are skilled in identifying, assessing, and mitigating various risks in the work environment, continuously improving risk management practices.
    • You have the competence in engaging and convincing stakeholders, achieving mutually satisfactory agreements, and confidently representing positions.
