Your role

As Business Unit Director – Critical Care, you will hold full responsibility for the Italian Critical Care business, from strategic planning to execution, through P&L ownership, financial operations, Commercial activities accountabilities and cross‑functional coordination and team leadership. Your mission is to ensure optimal performance of our products in Italy, in alignment with global priorities.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and execute commercial strategies to achieve ambitious sales and growth targets.
  • Retain full accountability for budgeting, P&L, and financial performance, ensuring maximum efficiency and profitability.
  • Build and inspire a high‑performing team, fostering a culture of engagement, accountability, and excellence.
  • Collaborate with medical, market access, regulatory, supply chain, and cross‑functional partners to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Develop strong partnerships with Italian Key External Experts and the wider Oncology and Anticoagulation community.
  • Drive business development initiatives to expand market presence.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, pharmacovigilance obligations, and LEO Pharma policies.

Your Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ senior sales and marketing management experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven expertise in management, market access, business planning, marketing strategy, and finance.
  • Demonstrated track record in P&L ownership, resource allocation, and operational excellence.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and business insight, used to make timely, data‑driven decisions.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
