Business Travel Consultant - Multilingual (German/French)

Cisalpina Tours SpA, fully owned by MSC Cruises (Mediterranean Shipping Company) , is an italian company with over 50 years of experience in delivering tailor-made business travel solutions to a demanding and international clientele.

In pursuit of advancing our international expansion, we are eager to welcome a group of dedicated new talents to join our operations team active across all time zones.

Our mission? To provide reliable and seamless support to our international network, operating from Italy and collaborating daily with colleagues and clients across different time zones.

THE ROLE

You will start with an intensive training period based on practical, on-the-job learning delivered by our internal training team, designed to equip you with the skills of a Business Travel Consultant .

By the end of the training, you will be able to:

• Plan and manage corporate travel arrangements – including flights, hotels, car rentals and other services – selecting options that comply with clients’ Travel Policies and meet their specific needs.
• Use the main Global Distribution Systems such as Amadeus, Galileo and Sabre to identify and book the most suitable travel solutions.
• Provide high-quality support to international clients – managing itinerary changes or unexpected travel issues with a proactive, solution-oriented approach, leveraging your language skills to communicate effectively and deliver culturally aware service.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU

• High school diploma (preferably in tourism or languages).
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written) and at least one additional language – ideally German and/or French .
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, outstanding communication skills, and a genuine service-oriented mindset.
• Previous experience in the travel industry is a plus, but not required. If you show the potential, we will be pleased to support you in learning and developing this profession.
• Flexibility to work full-time (40h/week) on rotating shifts, including early mornings, evenings and nights, depending on the time zones of our global offices.

Please know that standard daytime shifts (between 8:00 and 20:00) are office-based, while early morning, evening and night shifts are performed remotely from home. Our main offices in Italy are located in Milan, Rosta (Turin), Naples and Rome , where daytime activities are carried out.
